Divorce & Separation
Coaching
Clarity. Support. A way forward.
Separation and divorce can affect almost every part of your life at once — your relationships, children, home, finances and plans for the future.
When emotions are running high and important decisions still need to be made, it can be difficult to know where to start.
I offer practical and emotional support through one-to-one coaching. Together, we can make sense of your situation, organise your thoughts and prepare for difficult conversations or decisions. My aim is to help you move through the process with greater confidence.

DIVORCE CAN FEEL OVERWHELMING
You don't have to work everything out at once.
Separation is rarely just one problem.
You may be trying to understand what happens next while dealing with uncertainty around your children, finances, property or living arrangements. There may be difficult communication with your former partner, paperwork to deal with and decisions that could affect your life for years to come.
At the same time, you're dealing with the emotional impact of the relationship ending.
Friends and family may want to help, but they can sometimes have strong opinions of their own. Solicitors provide essential legal advice, but their role isn't necessarily to help you organise every thought, prepare for every conversation or work through the practical and emotional decisions that arise between legal appointments.
That's where divorce and separation coaching can help.
My role is to help you slow things down and separate the issues. Together, we’ll identify what needs attention now and what can wait.
We can then work through things one step at a time.
HOW I CAN HELP
Understanding the process
Helping you make sense of the different stages of separation and divorce, what may happen next and the questions you may need to ask.
Preparing & organising
Helping you organise information, paperwork, questions and priorities so that conversations with solicitors, mediators or other professionals can be more focused and productive.
Difficult conversations
Preparing for conversations with your former partner and thinking about how you can communicate clearly without unnecessarily escalating conflict.
Children & co-parenting
Helping you think through arrangements, communication and practical issues involving children while keeping their needs at the centre of your decision-making.
Decisions & perspective
When everything feels urgent, it can be difficult to distinguish between an emotional reaction and a decision that genuinely serves your longer-term interests. Coaching gives you somewhere to step back and think.
Moving forward
Divorce isn't only about ending a relationship. Eventually there is also the question of what life looks like afterwards. We can work on rebuilding confidence, establishing new routines and thinking about the next stage of your life.
You don't need to use all of these areas. Our work will focus on what you actually need help with.

HOW IT WORKS

Support when you need it.
You might need a single session to help you think through a particular issue. Or you may want ongoing support while you work through your separation.
We can use sessions to look at where things currently stand, identify what needs attention and decide what would be most useful to work on next.
That might mean preparing for mediation, organising questions before speaking with a solicitor, thinking through communication with your former partner, understanding paperwork, considering practical arrangements or simply creating some order when everything feels overwhelming.

IMPORTANT PROFESSIONAL BOUNDARIES
Divorce coaching and therapy are separate services.
Although I'm also a psychotherapist, Divorce & Separation Coaching isn't psychotherapy.
To maintain clear professional boundaries, I don't ordinarily provide divorce coaching and psychotherapy to the same person at the same time. If you're unsure which type of support would be most appropriate, we can discuss that when you contact me.

Send me a message to tell me a little about what you're looking for. I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
You don't need to have the whole future figured out.
Sometimes you just need to know what comes next.
